Apex 2027 Is Two Days in January
Apex Defense runs January 27 and 28, 2027. Both days sit in the ballrooms at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW, Washington, DC 20001. Clarion Defence & Security organises the event in collaboration with the Hudson Institute. Events DC lists the booking as Apex 2027 on its venue calendar.
The two-day format fixes the stay length. Check in on Tuesday, January 26. Check out on Thursday, January 28. That makes two nights, and every rate you compare covers those two nights.
The Official Room Channel Is Already Open
The organiser names EventBeds by NuBreed Hotels as its official accommodation partner. The accommodation page offers exclusive discounts at selected properties near the venue and puts the saving at up to 30 percent against booking direct.
One phrase on that page runs the plan. It offers fully flexible rates. A flexible rate can be released before its deadline, so read the cancellation date first.
The page also states the organiser's own reading of demand. It recommends booking as soon as possible because demand is increasing. Treat that line as the organiser's timeline and set your own date.
Groups of 10 rooms or more have a separate route from the same page. Use it if you are bringing a delegation.
Registration Opens Later Than the Rooms
Apex has not opened registration. The registration buttons on the site read Register Interest. The admissions policy requires pre-registration through the website and warns that on-site registration will be limited.
That gap decides the order of operations. A flexible room today holds your place while the registration process catches up. A prepaid rate commits the money on the same day.
Read the admissions policy for your category. Admission covers military and government attendees from the US and overseas, industry partners, industry participants and media. If your attendance needs someone else's approval, the flexible rate carries that risk.
Answer the Walk Question First
The venue sits directly above the Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street-Convention Center station, served by the Green and Yellow lines. The Red Line reaches Gallery Place-Chinatown, a five-minute walk from the building.
There is no parking on site. Garages around the Convention Center charge hourly or daily rates. A car adds a garage charge and a walk to each morning.
Apply one rule. A property within walking distance of either station removes the car from the trip. A property outside that ring adds a train ride or a garage charge to each day. Add that cost to the nightly rate before you compare two properties.
Five Terms to Get in Writing
Ask each property for these five answers before you commit.
One: the release date, the time of day the rate becomes non-refundable, and the timezone attached to it.
Two: the deposit taken at booking and the penalty for cancelling after the release date.
Three: whether the quoted rate includes District tax and any destination or facility fee.
Four: whether the discount applies to both nights of the stay.
Five: any minimum-night requirement and any charge for departing a day early.
A rate quote answers one question. These five answers settle the cost.

Arrival Options
Three airports serve the city. Ronald Reagan Washington National sits 4.9 miles from the venue. Dulles sits 29 miles out. BWI sits 31.5 miles out. Amtrak arrives at Union Station, which connects to the Red Line.
An arrival the night before the event puts you in the room for the opening session. A same-day arrival from Dulles or BWI spends the morning in transit.
What Fills the Two Days
