The 58th Annual Fort Worth Greek Festival runs Friday 13 November through Sunday 15 November 2026 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2020 NW 21st St. Entry and parking are both free. The parish runs a shuttle from the North Side High School lot. Friday and Saturday run 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Book the two long days first
Friday and Saturday each carry twelve hours of festival. Sunday carries four. The weekend totals twenty-eight hours, and twenty-four of them fall on the first two days.
The dance programme follows the same shape. The schedule page lists five sets on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., ten on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and four on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. That grid is dated November 7, 8 and 9, which is the 2025 edition, and the page carries no 2026 times. The parish office answers on 817-626-5578.
A guest who books only the Sunday night sees the closing four hours.
What the clock asks of the room
A Friday 10 a.m. arrival needs a Thursday night. Thursday through Sunday covers the full weekend and measures three nights. Friday through Sunday measures two nights, and it opens with the guest arriving after the festival has started.
The Sunday close at 3 p.m. sits past the end of a three-night stay. A guest who keeps three nights leaves the room before the final afternoon. Two options settle it: ask the property for a late checkout in writing, or add the Sunday night and hold the room to Monday, which makes four nights.
From 26 October 2026, the Friday opening sits 18 days out.
Sunday ends before the lamb
The kitchen serves the leg of lamb from 5 p.m. and the dinner combo after 5 p.m. Sunday closes at 3 p.m., so the dinner menu lands on Friday or Saturday. Sunday covers the lunch combo, the gyro and souvlaki sandwiches at the outdoor Plaka counter, and the pastry case.
The menu divides by counter. Kouzina serves inside, with moussaka, pastitsio, spanakopita, dolmathes and the Greek dinner salad, and individual sides run $4.50 each. Plaka and the Taverna sit outside. The Kafenio carries baklava, galaktabouriko, loukoumathes and Greek coffee. Boxed pastries and frozen pans of pastitsio, moussaka, dolmathes and spanakopita leave with the guest. Byzantine coffee sells at $18 a bag in three roasts.
Parking, the shuttle and the meters
The parish parks guests at North Side High School, 2211 McKinley Avenue, and shuttles them to the church. That lot sits 0.22 miles from the festival address by road. The parish publishes no shuttle hours.
Visit Fort Worth's parking page states that all downtown meters are free after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all day at weekends. The downtown cluster sits about 3.5 miles from the church, so the rule matters for a downtown stay. A Friday arrival before 6 p.m. pays a meter. A Saturday or Sunday arrival does not.
Five properties in the Stockyards, three downtown
Five directory properties sit in the Stockyards. These are road distances from the festival address, measured on the OSRM router on 26 October 2026. SpringHill Suites, 2315 North Main Street, sits 1.45 miles out. Stockyards Hotel, 109 East Exchange Avenue, sits 1.61. Courtyard by Marriott, 2537 North Main Street, sits 1.75. Hotel Drover, 200 Mule Alley, sits 1.79. Hyatt Place, 132 East Exchange Avenue, sits 1.84.
Three downtown properties add a short drive. The Ashton, 610 Main Street, sits 3.48 miles out. Embassy Suites, 600 Commerce Street, sits 3.49. Omni Fort Worth, 1300 Throckmorton Street, sits 3.77.
The festival publishes no room block, no rate and no cut-off. The rate comes from the property, and a written quote is the number to hold.
Payment at the gate and under the tents
The home page carries two payment lines. Food and drink purchases take cash, credit or debit. A line under the parking block reads no tokens, credit cards only. A guest travels with a card.
Entry stays free across all three days. The sanctuary opens for tours with Fr. Nicholas. The parish runs the festival rain or shine, with everything indoors or under tents.
Tax beyond the room rate
The state hotel occupancy tax is 6 percent of the room cost, per the Texas Comptroller. Local governments and special purpose districts are authorized to add a local hotel tax. The property quotes the total.
A group request goes out through hotelhuddle at no charge. One submission reaches 50 or more hotels in the destination, responses arrive in 24 to 72 hours, and the rate carries no markup. Group rates start at 10 rooms per night, and some properties quote from 5.
The room decision on this weekend turns on the Sunday afternoon. Book the Friday and Saturday nights, and settle the Sunday checkout with the property in writing.
