Two free days at Valor Park
Art in the Park runs at Valor Park on Saturday 14 November and Sunday 15 November 2026, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. The district calendar prices both days at free.
Valor Park sits at 1120 Farrow Parkway in the Market Common district of Myrtle Beach, 29577. The Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild has used the park since 2000.
What the guild publishes
The guild dates itself to 1969 and the show to 1972. It runs three weekends a year, one each in April, October and November. The 2026 weekends are 18 and 19 April, 10 and 11 October, and 14 and 15 November.
Booths measure 10 feet by 10 feet. The booth fee is $140 for non-members and $125 for guild members, and an artist new to the show pays a $10 jury fee. Exhibitors submit original work, and reproductions may take no more than half of a display. Exhibitors collect and remit the 6 percent South Carolina sales tax.
The 4 p.m. close is the firm term
Guild rules bar an exhibitor from dismantling a display before 4 p.m. That rule fixes the end of both days. Six hours a day, twelve across the weekend.
Vehicles stay out of the park. Setup runs all day Friday and on Saturday before 9 a.m., and the guild sends space numbers two weeks before the show.
No room block, and the absence is countable
A search of the district's own site for hotel returns one record, a summer film title. A search for lodging returns nothing. No page on the site names a partner hotel, a nightly rate, a block of rooms or a cut-off date for this show.
The district leases apartments at The Residences at The Market Common. That product takes long-term residents.
The district publishes its restaurants
The dining page carries the district's restaurants, and one card reads coming soon: Ocean Blue Prime Steakhouse. The list also names P.F. Chang's, Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar, Travinia Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar, King Street Grille, Gordon Biersch, CO Sushi, Nacho Hippo, CK's Bistro and Gios Pizzeria Napoletana.
District hours for the fall run 7 September to 30 December. Saturday runs 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on that table, three hours past the close of the show. Store and restaurant hours vary, and the district sends that question to each business.
The same park holds a second event that morning
The district lists a farmer's market every Saturday from 4 April to 19 December, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Valor Park. The listing states the market is not managed or organised by The Market Common.
On 14 November the park carries two events at one address. The park is shared for the first five hours of the art show.
One Saturday runs a second draw to the north
Broadway at the Beach lights its tree the same Saturday. A holiday dance party runs 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the tree lighting runs 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and fireworks start at 8 p.m.
The road route from Valor Park to 1325 Celebrity Circle measures 7.3 miles. The art show closes at 4 p.m. while the dance party is still running. A visitor picks one afternoon.
What to put in the request
Our directory carries Red Roof Inn Myrtle Beach Hotel - Market Commons at 2801 South Kings Highway, 29577. The road route from that address to Valor Park measures 2.18 miles.
Ask for Saturday 14 November as the first night, and add Friday 13 November if the party wants a 10 a.m. opening without a morning drive. State the check-out date. Ask for the total with tax and fees. Ask for the cancellation window in writing, because the show publishes no accommodation term.
Two numbers belong in the same note. The management office at 4017 Deville Street holds bags free with a valid ID, Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no reservation. Outside those hours the 24-hour property ambassador answers on (843) 602-4181. The district's main line is (843) 839-3500, and the guild's show contact is JoAnne Utterback on (843) 446-3830.
Free entry leaves no ticket to refund if a trip moves. The room is the only commitment on the calendar. A hotelhuddle request costs nothing to send, and one submission carries the date, the party and the rate ceiling to 50 or more properties with answers inside 24 to 72 hours.
