The date, the clock and the two hours

Broadway at the Beach lights its tree on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The district’s calendar carries three blocks that day. Each one has a published start time. Mr. Nigel’s Holiday Dance Party runs 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in The Hangout Courtyard. The Tree Lighting Celebration runs 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on The Hangout stage. A fireworks show over Lake Broadway starts at 8 p.m.

Two of those blocks run after 6 p.m. A booker who plans one Saturday night gets four hours of programmed afternoon and two hours of programmed evening, with a gap for dinner between them.

What happens on the stage

The event page names WPDE’s Ed Piotrowski and Jennifer Abney as hosts. The Hangout Dynamics team runs a preshow. The page lists live performances through the show and an appearance by Santa Claus. The show closes with the lighting of the 46-foot tree, which stands behind The Hangout stage across the lake. The fireworks follow at 8 p.m. over the same water.

The district’s FAQ states that admission to the property is free and that the attractions charge individual fees. The tree lighting and the fireworks carry no ticket and no published price.

The Saturday close is 9 p.m.

The hours table runs a row from November 1 to November 25. Sunday through Thursday the property closes at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday it closes at 9 p.m. That puts the retail close one hour after the fireworks start.

The same table carries a line a booker should read before planning dinner. Restaurants, attractions and nightlife set their own operating hours, and the district directs visitors to each venue’s own site. The 9 p.m. row covers the shops.

Three properties and three room counts

The district’s accommodations page lists three hotels and describes the layout in one sentence. One sits on-site. Two sit across the street near Legends in Concert. The page gives each hotel a room count and two phone numbers.

Fairfield Inn Marriott carries 111 rooms, complimentary continental breakfast and jacuzzi suites with king-size beds, on (843) 444-8097. Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach at Broadway carries 141 rooms on (843) 916-0600. Holiday Inn Express carries 114 guestrooms, a breakfast buffet and an outdoor pool and spa, on (843) 916-4993.

The reservation question routes to the hotels

The FAQ asks whether the district books hotel reservations and sends the reader to the accommodations page. That page publishes no nightly rate, no block of rooms and no cut-off date. Each hotel card ends with a link to the property’s own site.

So the rate and the terms come from the property. The district publishes a room count and two phone numbers for each hotel. Everything else sits on the hotel’s own site. Send the request early and ask for the answer in writing.

The weather clause is the first term to settle

The fireworks record states that all fireworks shows are weather permitting. The district publishes no November 15 fireworks show and no rain date for the November 14 one. The season carries three further 8 p.m. shows, for Thanksgiving weekend, a Christmas parade and New Year’s Eve.

A rained-out show has no make-good on the district’s calendar, and the room stays booked. Ask the property three questions when the rate comes back. Which date is the last to cancel without a charge. Does a same-day weather cancellation release the room. Is the quoted rate refundable.

Parking is free by day and closed overnight

The district’s group travel page lists free parking and motorcoach parking among its on-site services. The code of conduct bans overnight parking along with parking in non-designated areas and in fire lanes, and it states that parking violators may have a vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.

That puts the Saturday night in the hotel’s lot. A guest who drives in for the 6 p.m. show and stays until the shops close still needs the room’s space for the night.

What goes in the request

One night, Saturday November 14, with a Sunday November 15 check-out. The number of adults and the ages of any children. A room type that fits the party. The total with tax and fees, in writing. The cancellation window, in writing. Confirmation that the property’s lot takes the car overnight. A request for a room near The Hangout Courtyard, the block both evening events use.

Two numbers belong in the same note. Guest Services answers on (843) 444-3200 from Key West Village. The property offers no public wifi and no lockers, so a family arriving before check-in holds its bags in the car or at the hotel.

A hotelhuddle request covers the same ground and costs nothing to send. One submission carries the date, the party and the rate ceiling to 50 or more properties, and hotels answer within 24 to 72 hours.
