The Calendar Sets the Trip
The Carolina Opry Christmas Special plays 44 days between November 2 and December 31, 2026. Twenty of those days carry a 1 p.m. matinee and a 7 p.m. evening show. The other 24 carry the evening show alone, and the paired days cover 45 percent of the run.
Each performance runs two and a half hours. Three and a half hours separate the matinee curtain at 3:30 p.m. from the evening curtain at 7 p.m.
The Twenty Two-Show Dates
November holds ten: Nov. 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 27 and 28. December holds ten: Dec. 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19 and 22. Those dates fall on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with Nov. 27 on a Friday.
New Year's Eve closes the run with a 7 p.m. show and no matinee. Every Monday carries the evening show and no matinee.
What a Seat Costs
The theatre publishes one table for the Christmas Special, and every figure includes taxes and fees. Adult seats run $80.50 in Premium, $70.65 in Regular and $53.50 in Value. Child seats run $50.00, $29.95 and $29.95 across the same three tiers.
A two-show day means two tickets per person. A party of four that attends both performances buys eight seats.
The Group Rate at 22
Any group of 22 or more qualifies for group rates. The deals page publishes a $35 ticket for groups of 22 or more, and the group page adds two complimentary tickets with 22 paid tickets.
Twenty-two adult seats in Regular come to $1,554.30. The same 22 at the published group rate come to $770.00. The two complimentary seats carry the party to 24.
The deals page states the $35 figure without naming a seating tier. Ask Group Sales which tier the group rate buys before the count goes in.

Two Deadlines on the Count
A group pays no deposit. The theatre takes the final count and the payment two weeks before the performance for Regular and Value seats, and 30 days before for Premium.
No payment plan exists. Payment arrives in full, and seats added after payment are paid at the moment of addition. Requests to change or cancel arrive in writing by email or fax, and they must reach the theatre by that order's final count and payment date.
Refunds stop once payment clears. The theatre runs a transfer and rain-check policy on its own productions and asks for contact no later than 48 hours before the performance.
The group page lists multi-show packages among its services. Ask for the bundle on the same call as the count.
The Season Pass, and Its Ceiling
A Season Pass takes 25 percent off Christmas Special seats, applied to the full retail price of Adult Premium and Regular tickets. The pass caps at 6 discounted tickets per visit, and the pass holder books the seats and attends with the guests.
Pass seats carry a $2 per ticket internet order processing fee, and a transfer or a rain check carries a further $2 per ticket. Six Regular adult seats at the pass rate run $52.99 each, or $317.94. Twelve dollars in processing fees brings the order to $329.94.
The pass sells online and at the theatre box office. The phone line cannot sell pass seats.
The pass covers a calendar year. The theatre states that 2026 Season Pass sales have ended and that 2027 sales are open, so a reader booking this November and December run joins the programme for a later season.
Where to Sleep Around the Run
The theatre stands at 8901 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29572. Its group page reports ample complimentary on-site parking for individual cars and a large designated bus area.
The hotel-package page names two properties. Dayton House Resort pairs oceanfront rooms and a full hot breakfast at the Rose Room Restaurant with Christmas Special seats: two-night packages from $131.32 inclusive per person and three-night packages from $168.48, based on two guests in a room with all taxes included. Marina Inn at Grande Dunes, described on the page as a four-diamond property on the Intracoastal Waterway just across the street from the theatre, lists package rates from $363 for two nights.
Both offers carry the 2025 season in their terms and an expiry date of December 31, 2025. Ask the theatre for the 2026 quote before either property enters a budget.

The date sets the night count, the deadline, the seat tier and the rate. Pick one of the twenty two-show dates, then hand Group Sales the count.
