The 2027 SEC men’s basketball tournament runs Wednesday, March 10 through Sunday, March 14 at Bridgestone Arena, 501 Broadway. Five nights is the span that holds every session.
Four arena partner hotels sit inside the 37203 ZIP. One of them is a quarter mile from the door. The ticket carries a single published date, and it falls after the room decision.
The five nights that cover the whole tournament
The tournament opens Wednesday and closes Sunday. Five nights means the nights of Wednesday the 10th through Sunday the 14th, with a Monday the 15th checkout. That span keeps you in the room for the final and gives you a Monday morning to leave on.
Four nights ends Saturday the 13th. The final then arrives with no room. A Tuesday arrival makes six nights and adds a session the bracket has not set.
Four partner hotels, measured to the arena door
The arena’s preferred hotels page names four partners, each with a street address and a phone number. It publishes no rate, no block code and no cut-off.
Omni Nashville Hotel at 250 5th Avenue South, (615) 782-5300, sits 0.24 miles from the arena on a foot route. Renaissance Nashville Hotel at 611 Commerce Street, (615) 255-8400, sits 0.39 miles out. Grand Hyatt Nashville at 1000 Broadway, (615) 622-1234, sits 0.50 miles out. The Union Station Nashville Yards at 1001 Broadway, (615) 726-1001, sits 0.73 miles out.
Those four figures come from an OpenStreetMap foot route to 501 Broadway. The arena publishes none of them, and no property page does either.
Ask each property two questions. What is the nightly rate across all five nights, and what is the last date I can cancel without a charge. Neither answer exists on the arena page, so the number arrives on the phone.
The date the ticket actually turns on
The SEC ticket office lists the 2027 men’s tournament with one line: “Ticket renewals begin mid-January 2027.” It publishes no general on-sale date and no price for this tournament.
The women’s card directly above it carries both windows, with renewals in mid-October and tickets on sale in mid-November. The men’s card carries the renewal line alone.
That leaves the room exposed to a date you do not control. Book a reservation that can be cancelled after mid-January. Confirm in writing that the window covers all five nights.
Free parking at Lot E and the shuttle that comes with it
The arena’s directions page carries the cheapest way in. “Receive complimentary parking at Nissan Stadium Lot E with optional two-way shuttle service to Bridgestone Arena and back.” The block is titled “Free BEEP Shuttle from Nissan Stadium,” and BEEP is Best Ever Event Parking.
The shuttle “runs every 15-20 minutes 2 hours prior to 2 hours after the game.” Lot E “will be locked 2 hours after the game,” and patrons should be ready to show a ticket for shuttle entry. The page adds that the schedule is subject to change.
Lot E sits at 1 Titans Way, 37213. The road route to the arena measures 1.40 miles.
The page does not say whether the two-hour window counts from tip-off or from the final whistle. Ask the lot when you park, and plan the walk back if the window closes early.
Paid lots and the scopes that move the price
Fifth + Broadway Garage at 600 Broadway sits across the street and sells on entry. First Baptist Church of Nashville at 108 7th Avenue South sits adjacent and sells in advance for $25. Pinnacle at Symphony Place Garage at 150 3rd Avenue South sells in advance and sits two blocks out.
Fifth Ave. of the Arts Garage at 147 5th Avenue North sells in advance for $10. The page scopes that price to Predators games, so a basketball tournament does not inherit it.
Music City Center Parking at 201 5th Avenue South is guaranteed for season-ticket citizens who buy through the Predators.
The box office is a same-day counter
The arena footer states its box office hours as event days only, and sales for events only on the event date itself. A fan who waits for a walk-up ticket in March waits for the morning of the session.
The order to book it in
Fix the five nights first: Wednesday March 10 in, Monday March 15 out. Reserve one of the four partner properties on a rate you can cancel, and get the deadline in writing. Take Lot E next if you are driving, since the space and the shuttle both cost nothing. Buy the ticket when the renewal window opens in mid-January.
Bridgestone Arena holds the tournament again on March 8-12, 2028 and March 7-11, 2029, on the conference’s future dates table.
